What is the best anti-aging product I can buy?

90% of clients ask me this! What is the best anti-aging product I can buy? Or Michele, do I really need to wear sunscreen every day?

Answer: Sunscreen is the most important anti-aging skincare product that you can use! And yes, you really do need to wear it every day.

I often hear these questions, and they are great questions. Chances are you may have asked me this before or will ask me in the future. I get it- I understand why you don’t like wearing sunscreen. Old-school, over-the-counter chemical sunscreens have a higher chance of producing skin irritation or allergic reactions, and they are thick and greasy. With no desire to self-inflict pain, it's no wonder you might not feel excited about incorporating sunscreen into your everyday skincare regimen.

But, if you want to slow down the signs of aging, it’s time to make a change. Today's mineral sunscreens are moisturizing, lightweight, and provide a physical barrier on the skin that reflects dangerous youth stealing rays. I love Suntegrity 5-in-1 because this all-in-one, "UV Chemical-Free" Tinted Sunscreen/Beauty Benefit (BB) cream has many benefits. It renews, hydrates, protects, primes, and covers the skin.

Here are three (3) reasons why applying sunscreen should be a daily habit year-round.

  1. Sunscreen Prevents Premature Aging of the Skin: Sun damage from UV rays causes collagen breakdown, which contributes to fine lines, sagging, and wrinkles. If you want to reduce the signs of aging, then make sunscreen your friend. According to The Skin Care Foundation, 90% of aging comes from the hours you spent in the sun. Wearing sunscreen daily will save you from years of visible damage later. Ask yourself- “is a tan this summer worth the extra wrinkles in 10 years?” To prevent wrinkly & leathery skin, wear sunscreen every day and REAPPLY. I have added a powder sunscreen to my inventory to make it even easier for you to reapply.

  2. Sunscreen Helps to Maintain an Even Skin Tone: Being exposed to the sun’s UV rays can also cause sunspots, which increases the look of aging. Sunscreen helps prevent discoloration and dark spots from sun damage. This will help you maintain a smoother and more even skin tone. It is so much easier to prevent sun damage than it is to fix it.

  3. Most Importantly- Sunscreen Lowers Your Skin Cancer Risk: Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. By applying sunscreen each day, you cut your risk of contracting skin cancers in half. Don’t forget your eyebrows, ears, and lips.

Convenience Tip: Nothing breaks your ‘sunscreen wearing best intentions’ like not having your sunscreen on hand. Try carrying one in your purse and putting some in your glove compartment in your car for those sunscreen emergencies.

I'm committed to helping you slow down the signs of aging and protect your skin from dangerous rays. Let me know if I can help you find the right sunscreen for your skincare goals. I have tinted and non-tinted sunscreen, SPF lip gloss, and pressed powder. And... if you still want a tan, I am carrying a natural self-tanner.

Be good to your skin. Wear the darn sunscreen, you will thank me later,

Michele

P.S. I know you are dying to get out of the house and head to the beach, so if you want to put your fanciest sweatpants on and swing by and grab some facial sunscreen, just send me a text or book a product pick-up appointment and I will leave the product upfront with the World of Hemp Store.

P.P.S. Don’t forget to schedule your appointment before I get booked up. I am getting busier by the day and I want to take care of the people who helped me grow!
